How to shoot a good score on #13 hole
The thirteenth hole is a long par 4 that usually plays back into the prevailing wind. It
looks open off the tee; however, the fairway narrows the farther you hit it. You want to
try and drive it down the left side so you have a better angle into this green - Left of
the cart path is trouble.
It's better to pick a target
down the left side of the fairway, and then make a confident swing like you're going to
hit it there. Not bad, you're in the left rough. Your second shot needs to be by the front
left of the green. Take one less club and pick your target. Okay, so you're a little short
of the green. After chipping it to 10 feet you just missed your putt and tapped in for
your bogey - Again, no big numbers. Let's move on to the long par 5 fourteenth hole at 7
over par. |
